Once registered, please review the KCS Students tab on this website for more information regarding the program.
Costs:
Tuition is based off of: # of weeks x $22/week
Example: If a session is 10 weeks long, the tuition will be $220 plus registration fees.
Tuition includes use of studio sewing machines, sewing tools and some notions (I supply white thread, Fiberfil and Fusible Fleece for KCS projects. Students are asked to supply these items when making non-KCS related projects)
Registration Fees: There is a registration fee of $20 for NEW students and $12 for returning students. This fee goes toward the organizing binders (yours to keep), handouts, practice sheets, sewing tools, equipment maintenance and bulk supplies (white thread, pins, needles, notions, etc.)
Workbooks/patterns: Level 1 books/patterns are included in the price of registration. Levels 2, 3 and Teen are available for purchase upon level completion and are approx. $45.
Additional expenses: Students are responsible for supplying their own fabrics and notions (elastic, buttons, cording, etc.) Nobody wants ME picking out their pajama pants fabric :-) Students love the opportunity to select their own project fabrics. I try my best to bundle lists so you have minimal trips to the fabric store. You can expect to purchase supplies for 3 to 5 projects per session. For supply lists refer to the Level 1 buttons below.
